Converting XLSX to CSV
Upload an .xlsx or .xls workbook and the first worksheet is converted to CSV in your browser. Cells are written as they are displayed, so formulas become their calculated values and dates keep the format shown in Excel.
Steps
- Upload the workbook.
- Check the preview of the first sheet.
- Download the CSV.
Edge cases
- Only the first worksheet is converted. Move the sheet you need to the first position in Excel first.
- If you choose a comma as the decimal separator, the CSV uses semicolons between columns so numbers like 3,5 stay intact.
- Completely blank rows are dropped; blank cells inside a row are kept as empty values.
- Leading zeros survive only if Excel displays them (for example a column formatted as text).
